Overview
This is the complete southern circuit. It opens with two full days in the Mara, works back through the Rift Valley lakes, crosses to Amboseli for the mountain, and finishes across both Tsavo parks before returning to Nairobi.
Eleven days means you can afford two nights almost everywhere, which changes the rhythm entirely. You unpack, you learn a place, and you move on when you are ready rather than when the schedule says so.

Day 1
Nairobi to the Maasai Mara
West through Narok, arriving early afternoon. Evening game drive on the plains.

Days 2–3
Two full days in the Mara
The Mara River and the marsh on one day, the Talek plains on the other. Picnic lunches so you never have to cut a sighting short. Crossings in season; balloon flight optional.

Day 4
Mara to Lake Nakuru
North up the valley. Afternoon game drive in the park — rhino sanctuary, lake shore, Baboon Cliff at sunset.

Day 5
Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
A morning drive in Nakuru, then south. Afternoon boat safari among the hippos.

Day 6
Crescent Island, then Amboseli
A morning walking safari, then the long transfer south past Nairobi to Amboseli, arriving for dinner.

Full day in Amboseli
Sunrise for the mountain, Observation Hill, and an afternoon with the swamp herds.

Day 8
Amboseli to Tsavo West
East through Kimana. Afternoon at Mzima Springs and the Rhino Sanctuary.

Day 9
Full day in Tsavo West
Shetani lava flow, Chaimu crater, the Ngulia hills and Roaring Rocks.

Tsavo West to Tsavo East
Across the highway into red country. Aruba, the Galana river and Lugard Falls through the afternoon.

Day 11
Tsavo East to Nairobi
A last morning drive, then the Mombasa highway north. Nairobi in the late afternoon.
