Before you write
How far ahead should I book?
For July to October, six to nine months. The Mara camps fill first. For other months, two to three months is usually comfortable, and we can often do much less at short notice.
What does a safari cost?
It depends on the accommodation level, the season and the number of people sharing the vehicle, so we quote rather than publish. Send your dates and group size and you will have a firm figure quickly.
When is the best time to come?
July to October for the migration and dry-season game viewing. January to February for clear skies, green landscapes and fewer people. April and May are the long rains — cheap, beautiful, and some lodges close.
Is Kenya suitable for children?
Yes, with planning. Some camps have minimum ages, and long driving days are hard on small children. Tell us the ages and we will shape the route around them.
